Yes, I Have Bats in my Belfry

People have often used this curious expression with me, but now it's manifesting in my window.

Oooo... scary...

Don't be alarmed, I'm not under attack by rabid, bloodsucking fiends, he's just yawning. In fact, I've seen him waking up and doing the same yawning, stretching, stumbling around routine at around 8pm for the last week and a half, and it's just awesome. I've gotten so used to seeing him, I hope he stays permanently, finds a girl-bat and raises a family... I'd probably have the most bug-free room in the house!

Anyway, if you haven't noticed, the MorphZone has gone through some renovations. Hopefully you like it so far; I started off by upgrading to the excellent and free CMS, Drupal 5.1, started customizing the spiffy "Aurora" theme, and it's just kinda gone downhill from there. I'm still working on the grass header, which will probably feature some original art or photography (and be friendlier with fecking IE...), but I hope it's coming along okay. I am also going to start theming my new phpBB3-based forum shortly, and hopefully an interesting & approachable community will develop sometime in the future (sign up early if you want). If you have any ideas on forums I should add or delete to make the place better, please feel free to fire up the bat-signal and let me know. (Even better, if you've had problems accessing this site or any of it's subdomains, let me know, as I'm debating a change of hosts. Cheers.)

Thank you for stopping by and commenting! I was quite surprised when I saw from which URL you came. It bodes well for you folks that you even noticed this in the backwaters of the Blogging world. :-)

I do want to say that I am sorry you thought I was accusing of “trick photography”. That’s why I made mention of “my perception”. I am woefully, well, awful at judging distance/length etc. by eye. I do take your point with regard to the weight helping to elongate the straps but that will likely be moot with me since I am not one to carry anything aside from my wallet and papers (passport/visa) san antonio mortgage loans. Well, along with the occasional sock or other small project. In fact, were it not for my bag “fetish” (the bane of my husband’s existence, I’m afraid) I wouldn’t need to even carry a bag, just stick my wallet in a pocket and go. But, I have had an idea which is to load Bella up with weighted stuff and hang it from a book for a bit and see if that loosens the straps up new york mortgage loans. As it stands now, it’s a real tussle getting them to slide the top of the bag into, erm…”pucker mode”.
