MUT 1.0 Released

Alrighty, finished up a few loose ends with the MUT project (an xhtml toolbox for Maya 6.x), and released it on the mighty Highend3d site, a script repository I've enjoyed visiting for years. My hope is other Maya users find it as useful as I have, and maybe even add some more functionality to it.

Absolutely wonderful. The best custom UI yet. A touch glitchy on OS X (namely, the about window content fills the toolbox window after viewing the about window pane), but otherwise fantastic.
Great stuff but need
Great stuff but need reorganizing for pro use.
some suggestions:
1. remove italics in style, makes it less readable in high resolutions.
2. add layers as in the combo channel/layers box.
3. make the sub areas collapsable. For example the create menu under polygons. You rarely use it more than once and then start editing.
4. reorganize the tools in user frequency instead. In polygons for example the split polygon is the most used tool. move it to the top.
All in all a very handy way of working in max view :) keep it up!

This is teh 1337! I was thinking of something like this before I found your work. I wonder if the whole Maya UI could be skinned this way.
What might be nice to add to MUT is the built in functionality to add/remove the maya commands listed in the sections from within the UI so users could make their own custom toolboxes.
